McPHERSON – Kansas Wesleyan Women's Tennis fell to McPherson College Bulldogs 7-0 on Wednesday.
McPherson would win the doubles point by sweeping the three matches.
Rylee Frye and
Hayden Bellamy lost to Taimi Nashiku and Bella Ellerbee 6-4;
Corina Salas and
Alivia Sherer lost to Laureen Van Drunen and Vanessa Hofer 6-2; and
Hailey Adami and Ani Bonner lost to Eva Lesteluhu and Maria Luisa de Lama 6-2.
In singles, Hofer beat Bellamy 6-4, 6-3; Nashiku beat Salas 6-2, 6-1; Ellerbee beat Frye 6-2, 6-1; Van Drunen beat Sherer 6-2, 7-6; de Lama beat Adami 7-6, 6-1; and Lesteluhu beat
Isabella Myers 7-6, 6-4.
The Coyotes are back in action on Saturday at Evangel in Springfield, Mo.
