McPHERSON – Kansas Wesleyan Men's Tennis fell to McPherson 6-1 on Wednesday.
The Coyotes got their lone point of the match as
Dawson O'Donnell won on a retirement by Jayson Wasserfuhr. O'Donnell won the first set 6-3 and was leading 2-0 in the third when the match was called.
McPherson won the doubles point.
Jacob Phelps and
Adam Hanson lost to Hamish Wyatt and Arahtur Nardy 6-1; O'Donnell and
Paul Jittawait lost to Bruno Barrientos Molina and Wasserfuhr 7-5; and
Felix Rodriguez and
Benjamin Cechak lost to Davian Spies and Balazs Temesvari 6-4.
In singles McPherson won the other five matches. Nardy beat Phelps 6-1, 6-2; Barrientos Molina beat
Adam Hanson 6-1, 7-5; Wyatt beat Jittawait 6-4, 6-4; Temesvari beat
Jack Hanson 6-0, 6-2; and Texas Ranger Schmidt beat Chavez 6-4, 6-1.
The Coyotes are at Evangel on Saturday.
