WICHITA, Kan. – Kansas Wesleyan's Davin Hinote has been selected as the KCAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week for his efforts for the Coyotes last week.
 
Hinote helped the No. 17 ranked Coyotes post a 3-1 record last week, including two wins over No. 20 ranked Ottawa.
 
Hinote was phenomenal in his mid-week start against York on Tuesday.
 
He tossed a no-hitter over seven innings in the run-rule shortened 12-0 win for the Coyotes. It was the first no-hitter for the Coyotes since 2014. He issued one walk and struck out five in the game.
 
The Coyotes are 27-6 overall and 21-4 in the KCAC heading into action this week.
