Kansas Wesleyan Men's Tennis dropped a match to Concordia University 5-2 on Sunday at Salina Tennis Alliance Center.
KWU started the match off strong winning the doubles point, sweeping the three matches.
Alex Sherer and
Gavin Chavez beat Hugo Fuentes and Ongjen Gajic 6-3.
Adam Hanson and
Jacob Phelps beat Nick Velders and Daniel Caballeros 6-2.
Jack Hanson and
Paul Jittawait beat Ben Chisholm and Santiago Abadia 7-5.
The Coyotes would only win one of the singles matches as Concordia won five of six to capture the match.
Sherer beat Fuentes 6-4, 6-2 for KWU's only singles win.
In the other matches, Phelps lost to Velders 6-1, 6-2;
Adam Hanson lost to Caballeros 6-2, 6-0; Jittawait lost to Chisholm 6-3, 6-2;
Jack Hanson lost to Leo Lopez 6-0, 6-1; and Chavez lost to Abadia 7-6, 7-5.
KWU will be back in action on Thursday, hosting Bethel at Salina Tennis Alliance.
