Women's Track participates at Grizzly Gold
EL DORADO, Kan. – Kansas Wesleyan Women's Track participated in the Grizzly Gold hosted by Butler Community College on Friday and Saturday.
In the high jump,
Paige Smith won the event with a mark of 1.63m,
Corinne Hall was fourth with a mark 1.55m and
Trinity Windle was fifth with a mark of 1.45m.
Dahn Hanlon was third in the triple jump with a mark of 10.53m.
In the 10000m,
Micah Dickens was fourth in 37:35.78.
Elizabeth Stout was sixth in the shot put with a mark of 11.95m.
In the javelin,
Aunisty McNeal was seventh with a mark of 34.27m.
In the 1500m,
Shelby Lingle was eighth in 4:58.54 and
Kierra Jensen was 19th in 5:17.02.
In the 800m,
Kirstin Hackney was ninth with a time of 2:19.57,
Delaney Bond was 11th in 2:20.76,
Ava Kenyon was 12th in 2:21.43,
Hailey Nordhus was 13th in 2:22.59,
Lauryn Mikkelson was 19th in 2:26.60,
Emma McAlister was 23rd in 2:29.01 and
Joni Schroeder was 29th in 2:31.19.
In the 5000m,
Makayla Little was ninth in 18:19.14,
Charlee Lind was 24th in 20:06.99 and
Mya Schweitzer was 28th in 20:31.46.
Emorie McNabb placed 11th in the 200m with a time of 26.09 seconds.
In the long jump,
Corinne Hall was 13th with a mark of 4.77m.
In the hammer,
Elizabeth Stout was 13th with a mark of 41.73m,
Aunisty McNeal was 32nd with a mark of 33.80m and Roselyn Torres was 35th with a mark of 31.11m.
Emorie McNabb placed 13th in the 100m with a time of 12.58 seconds.
In the discus,
Aunisty McNeal was 16th with a mark of 34.59m,
Elizabeth Stout was 20th with a mark of 32.37m,
Jadyn Mabry was 26th with a mark of 29.60m and Roselyn Torres was 32nd with a mark of 24.20m.
KWU hosts the Coyote Classic next Friday and Saturday at the Olson Family Track at JRI Hospitality Stadium at the Graves Family Sports Complex. The Mortgage Company Distance Carnival is Friday night starting at 6 p.m. with the Youth 800m run. Collegiate events start at 7 p.m. Saturday's events start at 10 a.m.
