Aliyah Wood was named to the Inaugural NAIA Flag Football All-America First Team highlighting the selection of four Kansas Wesleyan players to the honor.
 
The NAIA selected its first-ever All-America team as the sport moved to Invitational status for the 2026 season. The All-America Teams were selected by the Women's Flag Football All-America Selection Committee, comprised of head coaches from NAIA member institutions.
 
Wood was phenomenal for the Coyotes this season. In 18 games she had 144 receptions that ranked fourth best in the NAIA. Her 1390 receiving yards also ranked fourth in the country and she ranked sixth in the NAIA in touchdown receptions with 23. She also recorded 43 flag pulls on defense for the Coyotes and had six interceptions which ranked 34th in the NAIA.
 
Iwata was stellar for the Coyotes earning Second Team All-America honors. She ranked second in the NAIA in passing yards per game at 288.6. Her 5194 yards passing ranked third best in the country and her 70.5 percent completion percentage ranked sixth in the country. She ranked fifth in the NAIA in touchdown passes with 72.
 
Whitfield also earned Second Team All-America honors. She had 93 receptions on the season which ranked No. 20 in the NAIA and had 972 yards receiving which ranked No. 22 in the NAIA.
 
Khylie Douglas had 67 flag pulls on the season from the rusher position, which included 18 for loss and 11 sacks. She ranked No. 40 in the NAIA in flag pulls, No. 23 in sacks and No. 11 in flag pulls for loss.
 
The Coyotes posted a 14-5 record overall on the season and were 8-2 in the KCAC. The Coyotes received an at-large berth in the Inaugural NAIA Flag Football Invitational, and the Coyotes came away with a third-place finish in the tournament, battling back through the loser's bracket, knocking off Baker and Ottawa along the way, to earn the Top 3 finish.
 
The Inaugural NAIA Women's Flag Football All-America Teams, as 35 honorees represented 14 member institutions, led by Warner (Fla.) with seven total selections, and Ottawa (Kan.) with five First-Team All-Americans. 
 
In all, Ottawa placed six across both teams, while Warner had four First-Team selections and three more on the Second Team.
