Phase 1 - Become a Prospect

Phase 2 - Steps to Admissions & Scholarship Package

 

Application - Apply online to Kansas Wesleyan University. Click here for the online application. Note: There is a $20 application fee. It will be waived if you come for a visit.

 

Official Transcripts - Mail sealed official transcripts to the following address:

*Note: These may be partial transcripts if not finished with current school year. Also, please have high school include ACT and/or SAT scores with transcript if taken. You may also have ACT and/or SAT testing services send result as well. ACT code for KWU is 1434 and SAT code is 6337.

 

Fill out FAFSA - Follow link to free application to federal student aid. http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/

 

*Note: When filling out FAFSA use the following codes to send your results to KWU. KWU Code= 001929

 

Fill out Verification Form(s) (if chosen for verification)- Fax Form to Financial Aid Department (fax # 785-404-1485)

Parent Taxes (If chosen for Verification) - We will need the first two pages of your parents 1040's from the previous year. You can fax those to our Financial Aid Department. The fax number is: 785-404-1485 *Note: If parents did not file taxes fill out the non-filing form available at the above link.

 

Student Taxes- If chosen for verification and prospective student filed for taxes will the need the first two pages of student's 1040's from the previous year. You can fax those to our Financial Aid Department. the fax number is 785-404-1485.

 

Phase 3 - Steps to Enrollment
Once you have committed these are the things will need before enrollment.

 

Signed Award Letter- This will be e-mailed to you or you can view online at My KWU.

$100 Deposit - You will get this money back upon graduation (assuming no damage is done to dorm room). This is the same as a deposit on a rental house. You can pay by:

Phase 4 - NAIA Eligibility Center
You must go through the NAIA Eligibility Center BEFORE you compete in any intercollegiate competition at ANY NAIA school.

 

NAIA Eligibility - The NAIA Eligibility Center is now open. Visit www.playnaia.com to register for the NAIA Eligibility Center. YOU MUST REGISTER WITH THE NAIA ELIGIBILITY CENTER IN ORDER TO PLAY COLLEGIATELY AT ANY NAIA SCHOOL.Click here for more information about the NAIA Eligibility Center .
 
Also have your scores sent to the NAIA Eligibility Center using the following code: NAIA Code = 9876.
