Kansas Wesleyan University led the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference in KCAC Scholar-Athletes for the Spring 2026 sports season.
 
KWU had a total of 106 student-athletes earn the award at the conference level and had 35 more scholar-athletes than any other institution.
 
The KCAC Scholar-Athlete program recognizes excellence in the classroom by KCAC member student-athletes who are sophomores or above in academic standing at the beginning of the semester in which they compete and carry a minimum 3.25 cumulative GPA at the beginning of the semester in which they compete.

Students must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at the KCAC institution to be eligible.
 
KWU's 106 led the way, paced by 29 student-athletes in baseball. KWU led the KCAC in five sports with the total number of student-athletes earning the award – Baseball 29, Women's Track 15, Flag Football 9, Men's Tennis 8, Men's Golf 6.
 
Friends had the second highest total in the conference with 71, followed by Saint Mary with 70. Evangel was fourth with 50 and York was fifth with 45.
 
Conference-wide there were a total of 691 student-athletes that earned the award. Baseball led the way with 187 honorees, followed by softball with 134, women's track with 98, men's track with 70, women's tennis with 55 and men's tennis with 51.
