SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Kansas Wesleyan Men's Cross Country ran late into the night at the Queen City After Dark meet on Friday night.
 
The Coyotes would finish eighth as a team out of the 13 scoring teams at the meet.
 
Evan Pearce led the way for the Coyotes with a time of 19:05 for the 6000m course.
 
Ethan Ochana was 41^st with a time of 19:34, Braulio Torres was 44^th with a time of 19:37, Isaiah Smith was 77^th with a time of 20:05, Barka Bapeng, Jr. was 80^th with a time of 20:08, Mauricio Mendez was 93^rd with a time of 20:36, Cohen Greve was 111^th with a time of 21:02, Roman Mai was 150^th with a time of 22:30 and Efrain Santibanez was 159^th with a time of 23:04.
 
KWU finished with 207 points as a team trailing University of Central Missouri with 164.
 
Missouri S&T was the team champion with a score of 38 points.
 
The Coyotes are off until October 10 when they head to Hays for the Fort Hays State Tiger Classic.
