Chris Snyder has been an assistant football coach since July 2023 for the Coyotes.
This marks Snyder's second stint with the Coyotes after serving as Offensive Coordinator for three seasons from 2010 to 2012, leading a revamped offensive attack that introduced the spread, up-tempo offense to the Coyote program.Â
Snyder also coached at Bethany and Saint Mary before returning to KWU as an admissions counselor.Â
Snyder has been involved in college football for the last 24 years and has spent 25 years in higher education. He has served in a myriad of coaching roles and also as an admissions counselor and assistant registrar along the way. A majority of his background comes from the NAIA and junior college levels.Â
Before his original stint at KWU from 2009 to 2012, was at Mendocino College (Calif.), where he served as Offensive Coordinator for six seasons from 2004 to spring 2009. While at Mendocino, the Eagles finished in the Top 15 in the state of California in total offense each of Snyder's six seasons. Mendocino finished the 2009 season ranked third in California in total offense, averaging 475.3 yards per game in ten games, second in passing yards per game, averaging 334.6 yards per game and sixth in points per game at 39.7. His teams won Bay Valley Conference Championships in 2005 and 2007 and were Mid-Empire Conference Champions in 2009.

Before Mendocino, Snyder coached four seasons at Doane University (Neb.) as quarterbacks coach.
Coach Snyder began his coaching career as a player/coach for the Baden Bruins in Vienna, Austria in the spring of 2000.

Snyder holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications and Sociology from Doane College, and a Master of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
