Daniel Green joined the KWU football coaching staff in the spring of 2017. 

Green previously coached the offensive line at Bethany College for four seasons before coming to KWU. He also served as a volunteer assistant for the Swedes, coaching the defensive line.

 

Before Bethany, Green coached ten years in the high school ranks at Moreau Catholic High School as the Varsity Offensive and Defensive Line Coach. He helped Moreau Catholic make NCS Playoff appearances for the first time in 15 years for the 2011 and 2012 season. He also made stops as an Offensive Coordinator at Albany High School, Oakland High School, and Oakland Tech High School.

 

A native of Oakland, Calif., Green played collegiately at Laney Junior College in Oakland where he was a two-year All-State Selection. He then moved on to star at Lincoln University (Mo.) where he was a two-year All-IFA Conference Player, Team MVP, and All-American Candidate.

 

He holds a bachelor degree in business from Bethany College.

 

He is married to Kristi Green and has two children, DJ and Krista.
