Jason McWilliams has been an assistant coach for the Kansas Wesleyan Football team since 2011. His primary responsibilities are coaching the linebackers and strength and conditioning.

McWilliams spent one season as a student assistant coach for the Coyotes in 2010 after playing two seasons for the Coyotes in 2007 and 2008. McWilliams missed the 2009 season with an injury. In two seasons with the Coyotes, McWilliams averaged 5.3 tackles per game and earned All-KCAC honors in 2008.

Football is no stranger to McWilliams, who has played the game for over 18 years. In high school at Canton High School in Canton, Texas, McWilliams played outside linebacker for four years and received All-District, All-Region and All-State honors.

At Kansas Wesleyan, McWilliams is nearing completion of his Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and plans to pursue a MBA degree after graduation.
