Josh Lewis joined the KWU Football coaching staff in January 2018. 

Lewis comes to Kansas Wesleyan after an outstanding career at Friends University. 

Lewis was a four-time All-KCAC performer at Friends, named as a First Team All-KCAC linebacker three seasons (2015-17) and was a Second Team All-KCAC linebacker as a freshman in 2014. He led the Falcons in tackles all four seasons, finishing with 315 career stops, which included 33.5 tackles for loss and eight sacks.

He was a two-time Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athlete in 2016 and 2017 and a three-time Academic All-KCAC selection and was a CoSIDA Academic All-District selection in 2017.

Lewis is the son of Monty and Nancy Lewis. He graduated from Friends in December 2017 after majoring in Human Services and Psychology.
