Josh Qualls is an offensive football coach with experience developing quarterbacks, wide receivers, tight ends, and H-backs at both the NCAA Division I and Division II levels. His coaching career has steadily progressed from graduate assistant roles to serving as an offensive coordinator, with a strong emphasis on offensive development, quarterback play, and player growth.
Qualls began his collegiate coaching career at the University of Arkansas at Monticello as a graduate assistant. He coached wide receivers during the 2018 season before transitioning to tight ends and H-backs for the 2019 and 2020 seasons.
In 2021, Qualls joined Middle Tennessee State University as a graduate assistant, continuing to coach tight ends and H-backs while gaining valuable experience at the NCAA Division I level.
In 2022, Qualls was named Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach at Cumberland University. He directed the offensive unit while overseeing quarterback development and implementing the program's offensive philosophy.
Before coming to Kansas Wesleyan, Qualls has served as the Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach at the University of Arkansas at Monticello. He led all aspects of the offensive scheme, game planning, play calling, and quarterback development while mentoring student-athletes on and off the field.
A native of Rogers, Ark., Qualls graduated from Rogers Heritage High School before attending Arkansas Tech University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Science in 2017.
