Marvis Brown has been a coach for the Coyotes since 2020. 

 

Brown comes to KWU after a two-year playing career at Arkansas State. He helped the Red Wolves lead the Sun Belt Conference in total offense for two years, while appearing in 24 games. In 2017, the Red Wolves set new school records for total offense and passing touchdowns. In 2018, A-State led the conference in passing offense. 

 

In 2016 at Tyler Junior College, Brown was named a Second-Team All-American, leading the way for a TJC offense that averaged 231.1 yards per game and led the NJCAA in passing at 405.8 yards per game. Tyler led the NJCAA in total offense per game with 636.9 yards and points per game (54.3). He also played one season at Texas Southern. 

 

Brown graduated from Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School in Orange, Texas where he was an All-District selection for the Battlin’ Bears.

 

Brown received a bachelor degree in communication studies from Arkansas State and is pursuing a MBA at Kansas Wesleyan.
