Mike Hall has been an assistant coach for the Coyotes since the spring of 2018. 

 

Prior to coming to KWU, Hall spent 19 years coaching at Salina Central High School, seven years as an assistant under former coach Marvin Diener before serving as the head coach for 12 seasons, resigning after the 2017 season. Hall had a record of 54-64 in his 12 seasons with the Mustangs. His teams made six playoff appearances in his first nine years, reaching the 5A semifinals in 2007, and the quarterfinals in 2006 and 2013.

 

He was part of four state championship teams, serving as Central’s defensive coordinator from 2001 through 2005, and was also named the assistant head coach from 2003 through 2005. Hall replaced Marvin Diener when he left the program following the 2005 season

 

Hall is a 1995 graduate of Southeast of Saline, and of Kansas State University in 1999.

 

Hall is married to KWU alum Lisa (Tripp) and has three children - Callan, Griffin and Braxton.
