Nick Talbott has been the Team Chaplain since the summer of 2020. 

Prior to coming to KWU, Talbott spent 18 years coaching football and wrestling all over the State of Kansas. Talbott spent the majority of his time in the Greater Wichita Athletic League. With time at Wichita Heights, West, and North. Talbott was the Head Wrestling Coach at Wichita West for 4 seasons. Outside of Wichita, Talbott has coached at Bacone College in Muskogee Oklahoma, Hillsboro High School, and Stockton High School.

Talbott also serves as a Pastor in the United Methodist Church. He is currently the Senior Pastor at University United Methodist Church on the campus of KWU, and serves as Chaplin for the Coyote football and baseball teams.  

Talbott is a 2000 graduate of Wichita West High School, and of Bacone College in 2008.

Talbott has four children - Derik, Bailey, Barron, and Bishop.
