Nolan Jones

Nolan Jones has been an assistant football coach at Kansas Wesleyan since January 2022. He also serves as Strength and Speed Coach for the athletic department. 

Jones previously served as the Running Backs Coach and Equipment Coordinator at Highland Community College during the 2021 season.

Jones also worked as an intern for the Strength and Conditioning staff at Northwest Missouri State University during the summer of 2021. 

Prior to starting his coaching career, Jones played on the defensive line for Kansas Wesleyan. During his collegiate career, Jones was a member of two conference championship teams in 2018 and 2019, held a position on the team leadership council, and was a two-time KCAC Football Scholar-Athlete. Jones was named the KCAC Champion of Character for the KWU football team for the 2020-2021 season. Off the field, Jones was also a member of the Alpha Chi Honor Society. He graduated in three years with Summa Cum Laude honors in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Exercise Science (Personal Training) and a minor in Athletic Coaching. 

Jones is a native of Plainville, Kan. and a graduate of Plainville High School.
