The Women's Volleyball Developmental Gold team traveled to Sterling to face Bethany College and Bethel College in a Triangular at Sterling College. The Coyotes swept both teams to go 2-0 on the night to advance their overall record to 5-0. Maddy Wolf hit .462 averaging 3.5 kills per set. Wolf had 7 kills on 13 attempts with only one error. 
 
Another key player for the Coyotes was Savannah Shahan 8 kills on 14 attempts and 1 error, averaging 4 kills a set. In the match against Bethany College, Emma Rains had a .625 hitting percentage with zero errors.
 
"Ashleigh Graves was Huge part of our gold roster because she brings so much energy and confidence to the court. In both matches this week she was a positive force in our front row defensively and offensively. The team has very good energy and chemistry and it is so fun to coach and watch. I am so excited to continue the season with these girls and watch them grow even more." Coach Skylar Lane
 
The Women's Volleyball Developmental Purple team traveled to Benedictine on Wednesday September 11 winning 2-1. After a first set loss 25-15, the Coyotes fought back winning the match. Aidyn Lagergren was a standout player for KWU with 13 kills on 26 attempts with 2 errors. Lagergren had an astounding .423 attack percentage.

The Purple team is now 3-1 on the season. 
 
Gold will travel to Wichita on September 16 to play a pair of matches against Friends and Ottawa, and both teams play on September 20 in a quadrangular with Friends University.
