Men's Soccer Purple Team played at Central Christian College on Friday September 27.  This was a 6-0 blow out game with forward Pierre Gueguen leading the scoring with three goals.  Defender, Anthony Orozco was the standout performer on the field while freshman goalkeeper, Angelo Giron showed some classy play in the nets.  Purple will travel to Oklahoma Wesleyan on Tuesday October 1.  
 
The Men's Soccer Gold Team played FC Wichita's 19U team on Tuesday coming away with a 4-3 win. 

Men's Soccer Gold Team had their return match at home against Friends University canceled due to Friends citing too many injuries and not enough healthy players. Earlier in the season KWU traveled to Friends and soundly defeated them 3-0. As an alternative, Coach Palmbaum and Coach Vargas used the field time to scrimmage Gold vs Varsity substitutes and a few Purple standouts (including Orozco and Gueguen). The result was favorable and allowed some reserve players to get time for consideration to make the jump to varsity in the coming weeks.  From the Gold team, Gonzalo Gaubeka, Trevor Peal and Jose Caballero all made favorable impressions with the varsity coaches. From the Purple team, Darius Horvath, Pierre Gueguen, Anthony Orozco and Joaquin Toledo seemed to inch their way forward to joining the varsity team in the future. The Gold team will travel to Allen Community College next Sunday.
