Men’s Soccer has four College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® honorees

(2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's Soccer Teams) The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's Soccer teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program Men's Soccer has four College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® honorees
separately recognizes men's soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
 
Kansas Wesleyan University had four student-athletes earn the honor.
 
Athletically, student-athletes must compete in 90 percent of the institution's matches played OR must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's matches and be at least of sophomore athletic eligibility status to be eligible for nomination. Academically, student-athletes must carry a 3.50 cumulative grade point average both as an undergraduate and graduate student (if applicable, unless they are in their first semester of graduate school), and be of at least sophomore academic status. Transfer student-athletes are immediately eligible for the award as long as they meet the above requirements.
 
Shae Wirt, a graduate student from Overland Park, Kan., recorded eight shutouts im over 1785 minutes played on the season overall which led the KCAC and had five in KCAC play with also led the conference. He had 55 saves overall and allowed only 23 goals overall in the season. In conference play he allowed only 11 goals which tied for third among primary goalkeepers in the conference. Wirt also earned First-Team All-KCAC honors and was selected by conference coaches as the KCAC Goalkeeper of the Year.
 
Noel Zimbeva, a junior from Harare, Zimbabwe, had 10 goals overall on the season, with seven coming in conference play. He also added three assists overall and two in conference play. His play from the midfield position was key in setting up scoring chances for the Coyotes and playing a key role on defense. He was named as a First Team All-KCAC pick.
 
Emilio Rodriguez, a junior from McAllen, Texas, was a key component of the Coyote defense that held conference opponents to only 12 goals. He also played a factor offensively for the Coyotes scoring three goals and adding an assist on the season. He was an Honorable Mention All-KCAC pick.
 
Alejandro Diaz Castro, a junior from San Jose, Costa Rica, helped the Coyote defense to allow the second lowest number of goals in the conference during conference play with 12. He played a key role for the Coyotes at the center back position in stopping building attacks by opponents and playing against some of the top goal scorers in the conference. He was selected as a Second Team All-KCAC honoree.
 
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. All four KWU student-athletes were advanced to the Academic All-America® ballot.
