MARYVILLE, Mo. – Kansas Wesleyan Women's Indoor Track opened its 2025-26 season on Saturday at the Mel Tjeerdsma Classic hosted by Northwest Missouri State.
Kristian Paronto finished fourth in the 60m dash with a school record time of 6.90 seconds.
Kean Dinkel finished 14th with a time of 7.03, and
Riley Garcia was 58th with a time of 7.37.
Damion Jackson set a new school record in the 5000m with a time of 14:53.31, finishing second.
Jake Cruz was ninth in 15:16.59,
Tytus Reed was 14th in 15:29.82,
Luke Adams was 27th in 16:11.79,
Mauricio Mendez was 28th in 16:12.26,
Cohen Greve was 33rd in 16:54.42, and
Brodie Bradshaw was 35th in 16:56.23.
Evan Pearce was third in the 3000m in 8:46.38,
Austin Schaeffer was fourth in 8:52.21,
Ethan Ochana was ninth in 9:11.79 and
Will Childers was 24th in 10:02.54.
Triston Cottone was fourth in the 800m with a time of 1:56.52 and
Nicolas Martinez was 17th in 2:00.48.
Braulio Torres was fourth in the 1000m run with a time of 2:32.88,
Logan Topp was 11th in 2:45.16 and Barka Bapeng was 12th in 2:46.19.
Kristian Paronto was ninth in the 200m with a time of 22.40 seconds,
Kean Dinkel was 19th in 22.76,
Riley Garcia was 48th in 23.42, and
Austin Hash was 65th in 23.76.
Keegan Lott was ninth in the shot put with a mark of 15.32m,
Jamar Armstrong was 32nd with a mark of 11.44m and
Brandon Weimer was 41st with a mark of 10.13m.
The Coyotes had two 4x400m relay teams. The team of

Keegan Lott was 13th in the weight throw with a mark of 15.16m,
Austin Baird was 39th with a mark of 12.53m and
Brandon Weimer was 47th with a mark of 10.75m.
Austin Hash was 20th in the 400m with a time of 51.51 seconds,
Riley Garcia was 31st in 52.60,
Andrew Smith was 34th in 52.95,
Trace Sump was 36th in 53.03, and
Brady Oliver was 44th in 55.15.
Kristian Paronto was 24th in the long jump with a mark of 6.31m.
Roman Mai was 31st in the mile with a time of 4:49.09 and
Efrain Santibanez was 39th in 4:57.08.
