WICHITA, Kan. — Cadence Mallet of Kansas Wesleyan University has earned the KCAC Softball Player of the Week honor, the conference office announced Monday. Student-athletes are selected for their performances from Feb. 17-23 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by Equity Bank.
 
Mallet had a great start to her KWU career as the Coyotes played their first games of the season. She hit .538 in four games, with a .846 SLG and a .600 OBP. She was very solid, going 6 for 8 on the first day of two games against OPSU and Missouri Valley.
