GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Kansas Wesleyan Women's Indoor Track and Field had participants at the 2025 NAIA Women's Indoor Track and Field National Championships.
The Coyotes did not see any group reach the finals, but still had impressive performances.
The 4x800m relay team of
Josie Koppes,
Hailey Nordhus, Kirsten Hackney and
Madisyn Ehrlich finished ninth in the preliminary round of the event, just missing a spot in the finals. The team did set a new school record in the event by a whopping 14 seconds with a time of 9:17.67.
Madisyn Ehrlich placed 19
th in the 1000m run preliminaries with a time of 3:04.39.
The Distance Medley Relay team of
Joni Schroeder, Juli Rottinghaus,
Lauryn Mikkelson and
Kierra Jensen finished 17
th in the preliminaries with a time of 12:46.08.
The Coyotes now turn their attention to outdoor track season, which starts March 21 and 22 at the Spire Challenge in Leavenworth.
