LEAVENWORTH, Kan. – Kansas Wesleyan Outdoor Track and Field opened the 2026 season on Friday and Saturday at the Spire Distance Carnival and Team Challenge at Berkel Memorial Stadium.
In the hammer throw, Dylan Marks was second with a mark of 49.20m,
Austin Baird was seventh with a mark of 40.34m,
Keegan Lott was eighth with a mark of 40.25m and
Justin Barker was 13th with a mark of 37.39m.
In the 100m,
Kristian Paronto finished third with a time of 10.69 seconds and
Kean Dinkel finished fourth with a time of 10.72 seconds.
The 4x100m relay team of
Austin Hash,
Kean Dinkel, DeJaylon Beal and
Kristian Paronto was third with a time of 41.98 seconds.
In the discus, Dylan Marks was third with a mark of 45.51m,
Keegan Lott was fifth with a mark of 43.69m,
Austin Baird was 26th with a mark of 33.82m, and
Justin Barker was 29th with a mark of 32.28m.
In the 200m,
Kristian Paronto finished fourth with a time of 21.79 seconds,
Kean Dinkel was sixth with a time of 21.99 seconds and
Andrew Smith was 43rd with a time of 23.49 seconds.
In the 400m,
Austin Hash was fifth with a time of 49.72 seconds and
Andrew Smith was 22nd with a time of 52.62 seconds.
In the 800m,
Braulio Torres was sixth with a time of 1:54.34,
Jude Nelson was eighth with a time of 1:55.31,
Triston Cottone was 14th with a time of 1:57.09,
Nicolas Martinez was 19th with a time of 1:58.35,

In the high jump,
Xavier Solis was eighth with a mark of 1.75m.
In the 400m hurdles
Riley Garcia was 11th with a time of 59.68 seconds and DeJaylon Beal was 13th with a time of 1:07.01.
In the shot put, Dylan Marks was 15th with a mark of 11.60m and
Justin Barker was 21st with a mark of 9.71m.
In the 1500m,
Austin Schaeffer was 16th with a time of 4:02.40,
Luke Adams was 33rd with a time of 4:12.08,
Cohen Greve was 36th with a time of 4:13.99,
Tytus Reed was 47th with a time of 4:25.80,
