Kansas Wesleyan Men's Track and Field had its final tune-ups before next week's KCAC Championships as the team spread out over three different locations over the weekend.
 
At the Alex Francis Classic hosted by Fort Hays State University…
 
Xavier Solis was sixth in the high jump with a mark of 1.90m.
 
Austin Baird was eighth in the discus with a mark of 39.85m and Justin Barker was 20th with a mark of 28.06m.
 
Austin Baird was fifth in the hammer with a mark of 45.54m and Justin Barker was 13th with a mark of 39.12m.
 
At the Kip Janvrin Open hosted by Simpson College…
 
In the 800m, Braulio Torres was 13th in 1:54.20, Jude Nelson was 20th in 1:55.17 and Nicolas Martinez was 37th in 1:57.69.
 
In the 1500m, Evan Pearce was 40th with a time of 3:59.14.
 
At the Drake Relays hosted by Drake University…
 
Keegan Lott finished sixth in the javelin throw with a mark of 57.59m.
 
The 4x800m relay team of Evan Pearce, Braulio Torres, Jude Nelson and Triston Cottone placed fifth with a time of 7:42.54.
 
The Coyotes compete next week in the KCAC Championships on Thursday and Friday hosted by Friends University.
