LEAVENWORTH, Kan. – Kansas Wesleyan Women's Outdoor Track opened the 2026 season on Friday and Saturday at the Saint Mary Spire Distance Carnival and Team Challenge at Berkel Memorial Stadium.
In the high jump
Paige Smith was second with a mark of 1.65m,
Corinne Hall was fourth with a mark of 1.55m and
Trinity Windle was sixth with a mark of 1.50m.
In the 1500m,
Kirstin Hackney was second with a time of 4:42.23,
Hailey Nordhus was 11th with a time of 4:53.53,
Makayla Little was 23rd with a time of 5:00.15,
Mya Schweitzer was 35th with a time of 5:26.79 and
Charlee Lind was 36h with a time of 5:29.59.
In the 800m,
Delaney Bond was fourth with a time of 2:17.85,
Shelby Lingle was seventh with a time of 2:21.24,
Lauryn Mikkelson was 13th with a time of 2:23.66,
Joni Schroeder was 15th with a time of 2:26.65,
Ava Kenyon was 16th with a time of 2:27.05,

In the long jump
Corinne Hall was fourth with a mark of 5.43m,

In the triple jump
Paige Smith was fifth with a mark of 10.59m,
Tamia Cheeks was seventh with a mark of 10.51m,
Dahn Hanlon was eighth with a mark of 10.17m and
Trinity Windle was 10th with a mark of 9.72m.
In the discus,
Aunisty McNeal was fifth with a mark of 34.00m,
Jadyn Mabry was 15th with a mark of 30.78m,
Elizabeth Stout was 18th with a mark of 29.18m and Roselyn Torres was 22nd with a mark of 25.95m.
In the shot put
Elizabeth Stout was fifth with a mark of 11.50m,
Aunisty McNeal was ninth with a mark of 10.96m, and
Jadyn Mabry was 11th with a mark of 10.26m.
In the 5000m
Micah Dickens was eighth with a time of 18:23.60.
In the hammer throw,
Elizabeth Stout was ninth with a mark of 37.77m,

In the 200m,
Markyla Shaw finished 18th with a time of 26.93 seconds.
The Coyotes head to Arkansas City to compete in the Mark A. Phillips Tiger Classic next weekend at Cowley CC.
