YPSILANTI, Mich. – Kansas Wesleyan Women's Golf finished in 30th place and missed the cut at the 31st NAIA Women's Golf National Championships at Eagle Crest on Wednesday and Thursday.
Inclement weather on Tuesday postponed the first round of the tournament and prompted tournament officials to drop the tournament to a 54-hole tournament instead of the scheduled 72-hole tournament.
The tournament field was cut from 30 teams to the Top 15 teams and top six individuals not on advancing teams following Thursday's second round.
KWU posted a score of 719 in the tournament, 30 shots behind Olivet Nazarene.
Savanna Nickum finished 134 with a score of 175.
Ryann Warren finished tied for 138th with a score of 178.
Emily Stamper finished 142nd with a score of 182.
Chaney Littell finished 146th with a score of 187.
Kelsey Essex finished 147th with a score of 190.
A total of 149 student-athletes completed both rounds for the tournament. Eight additional student-athletes were subbed into or out of the lineup by their respective teams.
