NIXA, Mo. – Kansas Wesleyan Women's Golf rolled to an 11-shot victory on Monday and Tuesday at the Fremont Hills Classic hosted by Evangel University at Fremont Hills.
The Coyotes shot a 330 in the opening round and a 342 in Tuesday's second round to finish with a 672 for the tournament, besting Williams Baptist by 11 shots.
Chaney Littell led the Coyote finishers with a second place finish with a score of 161.
Kelsey Essex was fifth with a 164,
Ryann Warren tied for sixth with a 166,
Emily Stamper finished 15th with a 182 and
Savanna Nickum was 19th with a 187.
KWU also had two individuals in the event as
Magen Dow finished 23rd with a 197 and
Abby Day tied for 24th with a 202.
Mariana Bonilla from Williams Baptist was the individual medalist with a one-shot victory and score of 160.
Up next for the Coyotes is the KCAC Championships in Newton at Sand Creek Station on April 27-29.
