Kansas Wesleyan University had a total of 30 student-athletes earn Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete status during the winter 2025-26 season.
 
Sports included in the winter sports scholar-athlete totals are men's basketball, women's basketball, men's bowling, women's bowling, competitive cheer, competitive dance, men's wrestling, women's wrestling, men's swimming and diving and women's swimming and diving. KWU sponsors teams in six of the recognized sports.
 
To qualify as an NAIA Scholar-Athlete, students must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for their sport, and have attended their institution for at least one full year. 
 
Nationally, there were 3143 student-athletes that earned Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors.
 
Men's Basketball led the way with nine honorees, followed by Women's Basketball with eight, Men's Bowling and Competitive Dance with four each, Competitive Cheer with three, and Women's Bowling with two.
 
The conference had a total of 242 honorees among the full-member institutions.
 
Saint Mary, which sponsors teams in all 10 winter sports led the way with 39 honorees. KWU was second with 30, Friends was third with 29, Ottawa was fourth with 28.
