Kansas Wesleyan Competitive Cheer opened its 2025 season on Friday night with a third place finish in the Coyote Classic inside Mabee Arena.
 
The Coyotes welcomed Missouri Valley and Friends to Mabee Arena for the competition.
 
Missouri Valley was the winner of the event with a score of 79.83. Friends was second with a score of 74.48. KWU finished third with a score of 64.26.
 
The Coyotes are back in action next weekend at the Crown Classic hosted by York University in York, Nebraska.
