Competitive Cheer finishes 11th at York Crown Classic

YORK, Neb. – Kansas Wesleyan Competitive Cheer finished 11th out of 15 teams at the York Crown Classic held on Friday night at York University's Freeman Center.
 
The Coyotes finished with a score of 64.23, finishing just outside the Top 10.
 
Defending National Champion Saint Ambrose was the winner with a score of 89.83 and was one of four NAIA National Championship qualifiers last season at the event.
 
Missouri Valley was second with a score of 86.40, Saint Mary was third with 84.08, Northwestern was fourth with 83.60 and Friends was fifth with 78.96 to round out the Top 4 teams.
 
The Coyotes will now compete on February 22 at Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa.
