OSKALOOSA, Iowa – Kansas Wesleyan Competitive Cheer finished in fourth place out of six teams at Sunday's William Penn Invitational.
The Coyotes posted their highest score of the season with a 72.33.
University of the Cumberlands was the Invitational champion with a score of 84.67, William Penn was second with a 79.43, Grand View was third with a 77.29, KWU was fourth, Mount Mercy was fifth with a 61.53 and Graceland was a distant sixth with a score of 31.53.
The Coyotes have 12 days to prepare for the KCAC Championships hosted by University of Saint Mary on Friday, March 14, in Leavenworth starting at 1 p.m.
