Women’s Golf finishes third at Crestview Fall Classic

WICHITA – Kansas Wesleyan Women's Golf finished third out of four teams at the Crestview Fall Classic hosted by Friends University on Monday and Tuesday at Crestview Country Club.
 
The Coyotes finished with a team score of 670 after rounds of 333 and 337 for the tournament and finished four shots behind Friends in the team standings. Seminole State CC was the team champion with a score of 659. Crowder was in fourth with a score of 832.
 
Chaney Littell paced the KWU finishers tying for fourth place with a score of 159. Ryann Warren was sixth with a score of 161. Savanna Nickum tied for ninth place with a score of 172. Kelsey Essex tied for 14th with a score of 183. Magen Dow tied for 16th with a score of 184.
 
Victoria Hofmann of host Friends was the individual champion by four shots over Peyton Black of Seminole State.
 
The Coyotes return to action next week, hosting the Central Plains Invitational. This year the tournament will be in Newton at Sand Creek Station due to construction at Salina Country  Club.
