SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Kansas Wesleyan Women's Cross Country posted a sixth place finish at Friday night's Queen City After Dark meet.
KWU was 11 points behind University of Central Missouri in the final team standings after finishing with 150 points in the meet. KWU was well ahead of seventh place University of the Ozarks with 180 points.
Leading the way for the Coyotes was
Kirstin Hackney with an 11th place finish, covering the 5000m course in 18:22.
Makayla Little was 31st in 19:15,
Micah Dickens was 32nd in 19:17,
Mia Oliver was 41st in 19:42, Libby Gutowski was 55th in 20:08,
Hailey Nordhus was 61st in 20:15,
Emma McAlister was 85th in 21:14 and
Mya Schweitzer was 112th in 22:23.
Missouri State was the team champion with 28 points.
The Coyotes are off until October 10 when they head to Hays for the Fort Hays State Tiger Classic.
