OKLAHOMA CITY – Kansas Wesleyan Men's Golf was back on the circuit this week, heading to Gaillardia CC for the Kyle Blaser Invitational hosted by Oklahoma City University on Monday and Tuesday.
The Coyotes placed sixth out of the eight competing teams at the event.
KWU finished with a score of 964 at the event.
Tyler Tarvin led the Coyotes with a 15th place finish with a 236.
Hank Reeg was 20th with a 239,
Jackson Malone was 21st with a 240,
Caden Stevens was 41st with a 251, and
Joey Wisocki tied for 46th with a 260.
Dylan Esch finished 45th playing as an individual with a 258.
Oklahoma City was the team champion with a team score of 893, easily winning the event by 44 shots over Wayland Baptist. Oklahoma City's Tres Hill was the individual champion winning by four shots over Grant Ferreira of Southwestern Christian.
Science and Arts and Southwestern Christian tied for third in the team standings with a 943, and Bellevue was narrowly ahead of the Coyotes in fifth with a 959.
Up next for the Coyotes is the Oakwood Intercollegiate at Oakwood Country Club in Enid, Oklahoma next Monday and Tuesday.
