KANSAS — Aliyah Wood and
Ansdiane Rabano, both of No. 4 Kansas Wesleyan University, have earned the KCAC Women's Flag Football Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from April 13-19 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by
Athletic Solutions.

Wood had a record-breaking performance for the Coyotes in the victory over Hesston this week. She caught 13 passes for a school-record 204 yards and three touchdowns. She becomes the first receiver in school history to eclipse 200 yards in a game. She also is only the second receiver this season in the NAIA to have a 200-yard receiving game. This is the second time this season Wood has been named the KCAC Women's Flag Football Offensive Player of the Week.

Rabano was a solid force for the Coyotes in a 46-6 win over (RV) Graceland. She had six flag pulls including a sack for a loss of 11 yards.
