Jerry Jones Kansas Wesleyan Coyote Athletic Hall of Fame
1999 Men's Soccer team was the first KWU men's soccer team to win the KCAC Postseason Tournament, defeating Bethany 2-0 to win KCAC Tournament. KWU also won the KCAC Regular season title with a 7-0-1 record, drawing with Southwestern in the first conference match of the year, then going 7-0 afterwards. KWU outscored KCAC opponents 28-4 during the season. KWU continued its high level of success winning the National Small College Athletic Association National Championship that season for the third straight season. KWU finished with a 17-2-4 record.
Head Coach Brian Berner was named as the KCAC Co-Coach of the Year, Murad Dibbini was the Offensive Player of the Year and Jason Todd was named Co-Defensive Player of the Year.
Dibbini, Merrick Henry, Frank Bustos, Geoff Carlson and Jason Todd were named First Team All-KCAC and Ozzy Perez was named to the second team.
