Jerry Jones Kansas Wesleyan Coyote Athletic Hall of Fame
Scott Jackson played for coaches Jack Welch and Brad Jenkins as a four-year letterwinner from 1985-88. He also earned Honorable Mention All-KCAC honors at quarterback in 1987 and 88. Jackson was named KCAC Offensive Player of the Week several times during his career at KWU. Jackson's name still appears in several of the KWU Football All-Time Top Ten lists, including the No. 2 long play for a touchdown, an 85-yard strike in 1985, a 97-yard touchdown run in 1985 (No.3 all-time), 48 career touchdowns (No. 3 all-time), 18 touchdowns scored in 1988 (No. 3 all-time), 3996 yards of career total offense (No. 5 all-time). Jackson also ran track for the Coyotes and was part of Wesleyan's 4x400m Relay team that was KCAC Champions, along with Howard Alexander, Robert Jackson and Buford Jones, winning with a 3:19.4, just a half-second from breaking the school record in that event.
