While at KWU, Marcia helped organize the Women’s Physical Education Club and worked to achieve recognition for women’s athletics. She was selected as the Outstanding Physical Education Major as well as an exceptional softball player. Marcia coached softball and volleyball at KWU from 1977 to 1982. She has been active in the Salina area as a coach and volleyball official.
