Jolene Mick was an outstanding runner for the Kansas Wesleyan Cross Country and track programs. She was a 2-time KCAC Champion, winning the 2006 and 2007 KCAC Championships. In 2006, Mick finished 22nd, earning NAIA All-America honors at the NAIA National Championships.
 
She qualified for the NAIA Indoor National Championships in the 5000m, the NAIA Outdoor National Championships in the 10000m in 2008, was part of the distance medley relay that qualified for Indoor Nationals in 2009 and the 5000m.
 
She still holds the KWU record in the half marathon.
 
In addition to her induction to the Jerry Jones Kansas Wesleyan Coyote Athletic Hall of Fame, Mick is a member of the Cloud County Community College Athletic Hall of Fame, where she was the individual NJCAA National Champion in cross country in 2003 and was a nine-time NJCAA All-American in her time at Cloud County. She was also awarded the Most Valuable Athlete Award at the 2004 NJCAA Indoor National Track and Field Meet in which she won the 3,000 and 5,000-meter races. Mick currently holds six individual Cloud County school records in distance events.
