Bob was a linebacker at KWU. He lettered in football four years and played on two KCAC championship teams (1969 & 1971). Bob earned first team All-KCAC and first team All-District 10 in 1971. His fumble recovery on the four yard line and break up of undefeated Bethany’s pass in the end zone with 26 seconds remaining led to KWU’s 1971 championship in the final game of the season.
