Jerry Jones Kansas Wesleyan Coyote Athletic Hall of Fame
Emice was an Honorable Mention All-KCAC during his sophomore year. Then after suffering through an injury-plagued season as a junior, he earned first team All-KCAC as the Coyotes won their first ever KCAC championship in basketball. Emice’s brother, Gladlyn, who played for KWU’s arch-rival Bethany, was also selected All-KCAC in 1933. Emice later entered into both the fields of private business and education. As a golf coach, he was selected for the Kansas State Activities Association Hall of Fame and was also inducted into the W-Clan Hall of Fame for his service to KWU Athletics.
