Jerry Jones Kansas Wesleyan Coyote Athletic Hall of Fame
Ron lettered four years in football and started all four of those years. He was named Honorable Mention All-KCAC three years. At the time of his graduation, Ron held the record in career rushing yardage 1,944, career touchdowns scored, and longest rushing touchdown 87 yards. At that time Ron also held several game and season rankings since surpassed as top ten marks; however, his career accomplishments still rate among the best ever at KWU. Ron had the best of two football worlds being a halfback and a single wing tailback.
