Jerry Jones Kansas Wesleyan Coyote Athletic Hall of Fame
Harold played under the guidance of his own brother, Coach Gene Johnson. He was named first team All-KCAC three times as the team won KCAC championships those same three years (1941 – 43). Although he was known for his superior passing, Harold scored 40 points against the College of Emporia to set the KWU game record. He was named to the Kansas High School Activities Association Hall of Fame for his coaching career in Parsons, Kansas.
