Jerry Jones Kansas Wesleyan Coyote Athletic Hall of Fame
Ron Alleger starred on the gridiron for the Coyotes for from 1968-1970. His best season was in 1969, when he received All-KCAC honors and was named to the All-NAIA District 10 team. He averaged a school record 9.1 yards per rush that season, rushing 86 times for 768 yards with 11 touchdowns. In 1970, Alleger ranked No. 21 in the NAIA in rushing as he ran 117 times for 784 yards and nine touchdowns. His career football numbers included 213 rushes for 1596 yards and 21 touchdowns. He also played baseball for the Coyotes, earning three letters for Coach Ken Cochran on the diamond.
