Jerry Jones Kansas Wesleyan Coyote Athletic Hall of Fame
One of the finest combination track/cross-country runners ever at KWU, Dave held outdoor track records in the decathlon, marathon, and 4-Mile Relay, plus indoor records in the 880, 1000, Mile and 2-Mile Relay. He was All-KCAC twice in cross-country and 9 times in track. At the 1979 KCAC meet, David won the 1500, 800, 5000, and 3000 meter Steeplechase and was named Outstanding Performer of the KCAC. His cross-country team won the KCAC in 1977 and 1978, and David was a member of the KCAC basketball champions in 1976. David Laha was named TAC/USTAFF All American in 1979.
