Peter was on the All-KCAC first team in both 1935 and 1936. He led the conference in scoring and held the KCAC record for single game scoring. He hit a shot from half-court to nip St. Benedicts in the closing seconds for a thrilling one-point victory. Peter was captain of the team and held the reputation as a fine shooter “in the pinch” within the KCAC.
