Jerry Jones Kansas Wesleyan Coyote Athletic Hall of Fame
Dave was a two year letterman in baseball and basketball after transferring from Fort Scott Community College. Dave was All-KCAC in baseball and basketball and was a starter on Coach Randy St. Clair’s 1976 KCAC basketball champions. He is also one of the top junior college basketball coaches in America with his 1998 Seward County team finishing third at the NJCAA National Finals with a final record of 35-3. He was a finalist for the NJCAA National Coach of the Year in 1998. In 2005 Dave passed NJCAA Hall of Fame Coach Jim Cary to become the all-time winningest coach at Seward County.
