By 1994 Mary Pat’s high school teams at Sacred Heart High School had made six state tournament appearances, including one state championship. She has continued this success at Sacred Heart and Salina Central High School. She has been the Saline County Coach of the Year, the Salina Journal Area Coach of the Year, and the Kansas Coaches Association Coach of the Year. Mary Pat has been a speaker at the KSHSAA Coaching School and active in the Kansas Volleyball Association. She lettered in volleyball and softball at KWU.
